Munyeo Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-06

  1. Who we are. Munyeo (“we”, “us”) is operated by Cabotine (카보틴), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea (Business Registration No. 106-38-52134, Mail-order Business Report No. 2026-Seoul Yangcheon-0788), 14F, 100 Mokdongjungangnam-ro, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Contact: support@munyeo.app.
  2. What Munyeo is — and is not. Munyeo provides automatically generated readings (tarot, Western astrology, numerology, Korean Saju/Four Pillars, compatibility, and interactive “ritual” experiences) for entertainment and self-reflection only. Readings are produced by software from rule-based calculations and language-model text. They are not predictions of future events, not advice, and not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or safety guidance. Do not make important decisions based solely on a reading. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services.
  3. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase. Browsing free content requires that you be at least 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). By using Munyeo you confirm you meet these requirements.
  4. Purchases, delivery, and the right of withdrawal. Readings are one-time digital purchases. Payment is processed by our payment partner, Dodo Payments (acting as merchant of record), which appears on your statement and issues your receipt. A reading is delivered immediately upon successful payment. Before paying, you will be asked to confirm that (a) you request immediate delivery and (b) you understand that, once delivery begins, you lose the statutory right of withdrawal / cooling-off (EU Directive 2011/83, Art. 16(m); Korean E-Commerce Act, Art. 17(2)). See our Refund Policy for the cases in which we still refund or regenerate.
  5. Prices and coupons. Prices are shown before checkout in your local currency where available. Coupons (welcome, journal-completion, wish-fulfilled) are personal, non-transferable, single-use, subject to the tier limits and expiry shown in your coupon wallet, and may not be combined. We may withhold or revoke coupons obtained through duplicate accounts, disposable e-mail addresses, or refunded orders.
  6. Accounts. You may use Munyeo without an account. An account (Apple, Google, or e-mail link) lets you keep readings, journal lines, coupons, and profiles across devices and in the companion app. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what is retained.
  7. Profiles for other people. You may enter birth details of another person (e.g., for a compatibility reading). You confirm you have that person's permission, and you are responsible for that data. Do not enter details of anyone under 16 other than your own child.
  8. Journal lines and the companion app. Some readings include short “journal lines” you may record and later mark as resonated / not resonated / not sure. This is your personal reflection. We do not evaluate or publish whether any reading “came true”, and completion rewards do not depend on your answer.
  9. Stories you choose to share. If you opt in to share a wish story anonymously, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it on Munyeo in anonymized form. You may withdraw at any time; we remove it within 30 days.
  10. Acceptable use. No scraping, automated purchasing, reverse engineering, harassment, or use of readings to make decisions affecting another person's health, employment, credit, housing, or legal status.
  11. Intellectual property. Reading text and PDFs are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Munyeo, the Munyeo character, and site content are ours or our licensors'. Tarot card art is original artwork made for Munyeo, following the traditional 1909 deck symbolism; “Rider-Waite” is a trademark of its owner and is not used by us.
  12. Disclaimers and liability. Munyeo is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law in your country.
  13. Changes. We may update these Terms; material changes are announced on the site at least 14 days in advance.
  14. Governing law. Korean law governs, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Seoul or your local competent court where mandatory law so provides. Korean consumers may use the Korea Consumer Agency; EU consumers may use their national ADR bodies.
